Elvis Presley - I Just Can't Help Believing - 12 August 1970 DS - Re-edited with Stereo audio

For the fourth show in a row Elvis gave a rendition of a new song that he had added to his setlist on opening night, B.J. Thomas' recent hit "I Just Can't Help Believing". Unlike the previous three versions, this performance did not include a reprise of the second verse but instead Elvis preceded to conclude the song using an ending not totally unlike that heard in the Culver City rehearsal. The song would be excluded from the midnight show four hours later, a show that is widely regarded as the greatest show that Elvis ever gave. He would return to the song in the following show, still in abbreviated form but for the rest of the engagement it would be performed at almost every show and would be full renditions. As with all of these videos, to get the most out of the re-edited audio, I highly recommend you use ear /headphones and turn the volume up as much as you dare!
