Israel tightens access to Al Aqsa for first Friday prayers of Ramadan

The Israeli military is restricting Palestinian access to the Al Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem. Hundreds have been stopped at Israeli military checkpoints, preventing many from attending the first Friday prayers of Ramadan. Tel Aviv has issued only 10,000 permits and are enforcing age restrictions. Thousands of Israeli police officers have been deployed across the city. Zena Tahhan reports.
