Let's worship together! Our scripture reading comes from Luke 18:1-8. This parable often called the “Parable of the Persistent Widow” we read of a widow who receives justice from a judge because she doesn’t give up asking the judge to intervene. The implication is that if we pray persistently, God will answer our prayers. But will God? Is that how prayers works? If not, how does it work? We’ll explore these and other questions as we seek to answer the question: does God answer prayer?
