Tropics Update: Danielle becomes a hurricane again, Tropical Storm Earl passes north of Puerto Rico

The National Hurricane Center re-upgraded Danielle back to a Hurricane on Sunday. The good news outside of shipping traffic this storm will not be impacting anyone on land directly. The storm could get wrapped up in a mid-level trough later this week though and help bring messy weather across the British Isles on the other side of the Atlantic. Tropical Storm Earl will move northwestward at a slow and steady pace. Earl is forecasted to strengthen to reach major (Category 3-5) hurricane strength as a Cat 3 hurricane. The storm is forecasted to bring heavy rain and gusty winds, especially in squalls, to Puerto Rico. Although Bermuda is not in the direct line of Earl's path, the island will likely experience gusty winds, heavy rain and strong waves by the end of the week.
