ETERNAL GIVING AND RECEIVING | The Word Exposed with Cardinal Tagle (June 4, 2023) Today is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. We celebrate the mystery of God: one in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. And at the core of God is love, which is proclaimed in the gospel reading.“God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.” The Father sent his Son, Jesus, to save and redeem the world through his passion, death, and resurrection, Jesus gifted us not only with the forgiveness of our sins but also with the Holy Spirit, who would guide and console us. All this is love given and received.
