It is important to understand the many, varied attacks on Trump in their larger, global context. The neocons in his administration are stuck in a dead, Cold War type mentality, where the US is the unilateral power on the planet. They cannot accept that President Trump is open to the new paradigm of peaceful development and cooperation with nations such as China, Russia, and North Korea.
