Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, in today’s gospel we can categorize two groups of people, the first group have the love for Jesus and the second group who did not love him and tried to find faults. The first group of people have special love for Christ in their hearts, they search for his presence, they desire being with him, they long for his blessings and flocked to him to be healed of their diseases. And the gospel tells us the crowd came together again. The love for Jesus prompted them to spread the message about him thus the number of people following him increased, which became a scandal for the scribes. The second group of people where the one’s who always criticized Jesus. They said many negative things about Jesus, their hatred drew them away from Jesus and they did not want to listen to him nor imitate him. We read in the acts of the apostles how St. Paul was neglected by the people, they shouted at him “away with such a man from the earth for he should not be allowed to live”. Dear friends a loving person has no place where there is hatred, because where there is hatred love is not found and where love exists, it attracts the people. Jesus came to vanquish the hatred he taught us to love as he loved, so that there will be no hatred among us.Dear brothers and sisters as Jesus taught us to love so let us learn to love each other, and love Christ with all our hearts. Amen
