Coach Kevin Woodson Gavilan Football Rams

Kevin Woodson begins his second year with Gavilan College, his first as Defensive Backs coach. In Coach Woodson's first year, he assisted with offensive skill players and served as video coordinator and equipment coordinator. Prior to joining the Gavilan staff Kevin served four years on active duty as a United States Marine. Woodson still serves as a Marine reservist. Woodson is originally from south Alabama where he played high school football at Andalusia High School, Georgiana High School, and Fort Dale Academy. He is a member of the Fort Dale 2002 track state championship team. He also served one semester as an athletic training student in 2013 at Gavilan. Kevin's wife, Lucia, is a Spanish teacher at Gilroy High School.
