Gavilan Football Coach David Moseley

David Moseley is entering his 1st season with Gavilan College and will be serving as Recruiting Coordinator and Cornerbacks Coach. Prior to joining the Gavilan coaching staff, Coach Moseley served as the Defensive Coordinator, Linebackers Coach and Runningbacks Coach at Fremont Highschool in Sunnyvale, CA. During his time at Fremont High School, Coach Moseley was selected to Coach Runningbacks and Linebackers for the 41st Annual Charlie Wedemeyer All-Star Football Game at Levi’s Stadium, working with some of the Bay Area’s most talented coaches and football players. Coach Moseley also spent one season coaching at Woodside High School in Redwood City, CA. Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, Coach Moseley played Linebacker and Fullback Randall High School winning back to back District 3-4A Titles and earning 1st team All-District 3-4A Honors. He then went on to play linebacker for the Division II New Mexico Highlands University Cowboys. After his time at New Mexico Highlands, Coach Moseley spent an enlistment in the United States Marine Corps where he served on the 24th MEU(Marine Expeditionary Unit) for the HMLA-269 Gunrunners Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron, Stationed at New River Air Station in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Coach Moseley is currently using his GI Bill to pursue his degree in Kinesiology.
