Want to quit smoking? Visit your local pharmacy today to help you begin your smoke-free journey. Initially, a consultation is offered by the pharmacist involving a carbon monoxide test, followed by an explanation of the benefits of stopping smoking (Psnc, 2005). After discussing appropriate treatments with the pharmacist, an effective plan that is suitable for you should be established by the end of the consultation (Psnc, 2005). The pharmacist will also make you aware of the ongoing available support to help you quit.
