NASCAR Thunder 2004 - Pocono Setup (49.710)

NASCAR Thunder 2004 - Pocono Setup (49.710)

With Phoenix behind us, Pocono's next on the list. It's no easy feat what so ever but with this setup, sub 50s are possible. 2 whole seconds faster than the AI's. My new PB of a 49.71 averages 181.05 MPH. With the low downforce package easily prevailing once again and turns 1-2 both being real brake heavy turns, it's super easy to lock the brakes up & spin out, sometimes turn 3 too even. Nothing you can do except try to get your braking in before the turns instead of as you're starting to enter the turn to prevent this. If you get it all right though, it is bad ass fast. Up to 215 MPH before slowing down to 150 MPH or so for turn 1. Then accelerate all the way back up to 210 MPH before slowing back down to 145 MPH or so for turn 2. Then going back up to around 195 MPH before slowing back down to 145 MPH for turn 3. I lengthened 3rd gear a bit here to improve the acceleration coming out of the turns and corner exit speeds here are probably more important than anywhere else. Richmond will be next and it'll be another ground breaking setup video like this one so stay tuned. UPDATE: 1/28/2024 - This video is now outdated, I've just posted an updated version here.    • NASCAR Thunder 2004 - Updated Pocono Setup...
