When Michael Urban needed a thrill coaster for the low space Urban Park, he contacted Bolliger and Mabillard. Drawing insperation from Daemonen at Tivoli Gardens, F.E.A.R. takes guests upside down four times, in it's 2,310 feet of track. The first B&M Floorless coaster opened in 1999 as Medusa at Six Flags Great Adventure. Thought to be a replacement for the standard sit down coaster, the Floorless trains give guests a good foot chopper element, thinking their feet might get caught in the mass of twisting track below. The latest Floorless coaster opened in 2013 at Imagicaa in India, however several Stand Up to Floorless conversions have been done since (such as Mantis to Rougarou at Cedar Point).
