With Bonnie Raitt, Jason Mraz, and Quiltman (Milton Sahme) opening and closing the song. "Rockin' the Rez" is a song written by John Trudell (1946-2015) and my friend Jesse Ed Davis (1944-1888). This was the third encore song and finale of Stand in Solidarity with Standing Rock, Sunday night, 27 November 2016, a concert benefiting Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and in support of numerous water protectors opposed to current plans for the Dakota Access Pipeline.
