SR Battle of Britain class, Light (very light) Pacific, no 34067, Tangmere, seen here on the slow UP at Iver, on its way to London Paddington. News came through pretty early on that this tour was in trouble, having stalled on the greasy track on the Parkestone bank, after leaving the support diesel at Wareham. What bright fella decided that was a good idea. I had plans to film the turning of the ECS on the Greenford triangle, but that went by the board with the late running of this tour.
