Cleveland weather: Warmer day tomorrow, very windy with highs in the upper 70s for Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Thursday, September 4, 2025. We'll cool down tonight into the 40s and low 50s under clear skies as high pressure briefly takes over. A warm front will swing north through the area tomorrow bringing a quick return to warmth with highs surging back into the upper 70s. It will be a WINDY day on Friday with gusts over 30 mph at times. Sunshine will be common most of the day before clouds and late day shower chances return. There will be an area of rain and clouds in southeast Ohio Friday night into early Saturday. We may get clipped by a few showers and leftover clouds from this system--but skies should clear out area-wide later in the day. We're looking at a cool weekend with highs only in the mid 60s both Saturday and Sunday. Sunday's Browns season-opener looks beautiful and fall-like. Temps will be in the low 60s at kickoff with a mix of sun and lake effect clouds. There is a slim chance a lake shower could make it into Cleveland for the game, but the bulk of any lake effect showers should be to the east. Temps moderate back into the 70s and even the 80s all of next week as our pattern returns to the warm, dry pattern we got used to in August.
