Cleveland weather: Warmer temps are on the way to Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Thursday, April 17, 2025. A warm front will move through tonight, helping our winds to pick up and temps to stay elevated. We'll likely hold in the 50s tonight with a round of passing clouds and a brief shower chance. This will set the stage for a summer-like Friday. A mix of sun and clouds can be expected Friday with temps surging into the upper 70s on a strong, gusty wind. Temps will make a run at 80, although I think we'll fall just short. 80 degrees is not out of the question this time of year. Our average first 80 occurs next week. We'll be keeping our eye on strong storms to the west Friday night. Those will move our way heading into Saturday morning. The idea right now is that those should be weakening as they approach, especially with the timing. Areas further west could still have some gusty winds with those storms. These will be part of a cold front moving through, which means temperatures will likely falling into Saturday. Showers and storms will likely come in waves through the Buckeye State Saturday during the day -- so it looks pretty rainy, but there will be breaks between the rounds of rain. Any severe threat will likely be well south of us so we'd just be rainy at times. Easter Sunday would feature a leftover shower or two early with another round of rain and storms possible late...but much of the day would be cloudy, cool, but fairly dry. Temps will surge again Monday with a round of storms and temps in the 70s. 60s can be expected for much of next week as the cold air to our north looks to stay for a change! Here is your Cleveland weather forecast: FRIDAY: Sun and high clouds. Windy and much warmer. Upper 70s. SATURDAY: Showers and a few rumbles. 60s, turning a bit cooler near the lake later in the day.
