MONDAY 7TH NOVEMBER 2022 - CRIME WATCH LIVE HIGHLIGHTS FROM TODAY'S SHOW: The country has recorded 8 murders within a 24-hour period between Friday 4th November 2022 and Saturday 5th November, 2022 with 14 murders being recorded within the first 5 days of November. • The killings all took place with the use of firearms and were recorded in (1) Laventille; (1) Pleasantville; (1) Maloney; (1) Tacarigua; (1) Freeport; (1) San Fernando; (2) Tunapuna; (1) Champ Fleurs; (2) Carenage; (2) Valencia; and (1) Barataria. A 33-year-old man was chased and shot to death along Sixth Avenue, Malick, Barataria in broad daylight on Saturday 5th November, 2022. • Beesham Seenath was declared dead at the Mt. Hope hospital after he was shot multiple times about the body man a man who chased him along Sixth Avenue, Malick Barataria around 3:30pm. • The killing was captured on CCTV video. Two Malick Barataria men were gunned down inside a vehicle moments after they were recorded drinking Hennessey and daring their haters to “come harder” at them while at L’Anse Mitan Road in Carenage on Friday night. • The deceased have been identified as 31-year-old Kafele Kenrick Pierre aka Philly of Councilman Circular, Upper Sixth Avenue, Malick Barataria, the leader of the Councilman Circular gang; and his second-in-command, 30-year-old Levi Ryan Williams aka “Killa Pig, Fatman and short man” also of Councilman Circular, Upper Sixth Avenue, Malick Barataria. • Around 10:01pm, both men were liming and drinking at L’Anse Mitan Road, Carenage when they were approached by a man armed with a gun. • The suspect opened fire on both victims, who tried to flee inside a car, but were killed. The double killing was captured on CCTV. Minutes before they were gunned down, Philly and Killa Pig, in a cell phone video, showed off a bottle of Hennessey and told their haters they should “come harder” A man, identified as Theodore Jones, was killed after his maxi taxi reportedly rolled over him while repairing the vehicle at black rock in Tobago early on Monday 7th November, 2022. Days after National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds was criticized for downplaying the shootout between gangs which affected the operations of the Rose Hill RC school, Hinds toured the area along the Acting Commissioner of Police Mc Donald Jacob. • Both men arrived in the area amid a heavy security presence by officers of the Guard and Emergency Branch, the interagency task Force and Special Branch where they met and spoke with members of the media who had been invited via a press statement issued on Sunday night. • Hinds, who is also the Member of Parliament for the area, and Jacob announced security plans for the area, particularly around the school while classes are in session.
