Thursday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Warmer with several rounds of rain and storms

Cleveland weather forecast for Thursday, March 27, 2026. Our patience this week has paid off with the cold temps and now it's time to reap the benefits of warmer air. Make plans to get outside today and then again Saturday with the return to respectable air! We'll also be watching our rain and storm chances as we'll have plenty of those over the next week. Let's start with the recovery day today as temps return to average in the low to mid 50s this afternoon. Sunshine will give way to clouds throughout the afternoon. We can't rule out a stray shower late in the day. A warm front will surge north through the area on Friday. Expect numerous showers and a few rumbles of thunder as the front approaches. Once the front clears late in the evening, temps will push into the low 60s for your Friday evening plans after spending most of the day in the 50s. Our high temps will likely be achieved just before midnight tomorrow! This northward moving front will set the stage for quite the Saturday. We're still thinking we'll be dry with sunshine and a decent breeze. Temps will push well into the 70s with the sunshine. Rain chances will return late Saturday night into Sunday. Make plans to get outside and enjoy the beautiful day Saturday! Rain and storm chances continue Sunday with another round possible Sunday night into Monday. Some of these storms could be on the strong side, but timing will be everything in terms of how strong these storms can get. That timing is still to be determined, but stay tuned to future forecasts for the latest on our severe threat. Colder air moves in to begin April before another warm up takes shape mid-week.
