Pedestrian struck in Florence has died from her injuries

FLORENCE, Ky. (WKRC) - A pedestrian was struck and killed in Florence on Friday evening. Florence Police have identified the pedestrian as Rebecca Bolte, 57. Police say Bolte was crossing US 25 near the UDF just before 8 p.m. She was hit by a pickup truck pulling out of the UDF onto northbound US 25. Police say it was dark and raining at the time and the driver didn't see her. Bolte was taken to UC Medical Center but died from her injuries early Monday morning. Police say they are still investigating but they don't anticipate filing charges. Anyone who saw the accident is asked to call Florence Police.
