Gail Ferrell discusses her time working on The Lawrence Welk Show from 1969 to 1982

Gail Ferrell grew up in Durant, Oklahoma, graduating from the University of Tulsa before joining the Welk musical family in 1969. On The Lawrence Welk Show Gail sang solos, duets with Dick Dale, numbers with Sandi and Mary Lou, and appeared as one third of a mixed trio consisting of her husband Ron Anderson, and Michael Redman. Ferrell is also an accomplished pianist and song writer.
