On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: Over the weekend, President Joe Biden and Speaker Kevin McCarthy agreed to raise the debt ceiling. Like all other Americans, President Biden must now wait and see what US lawmakers will do with the debt ceiling and budget deal that was just negotiated. It’s in their hands now with a vote soon to happen. Meanwhile, a judge in South Carolina has placed a temporary hold on a recently signed 6-week abortion ban. Senior Reporter at the Daily Signal, Mary Margaret Olohan, joins to share her thoughts on the judge halting the pro-life bill in South Carolina and what comes next. And Turkey's longtime president is not leaving power anytime soon. Philip Crowther, affiliate reporter with the Associated Press, has more from Turkey. Also, the Vatican released a 20 page pastoral reflection on Sunday urging the faithful to be "reflective, not reactive" on social media.
