"Why are you building your Caravan/Motorhome/Camper van at home when you can find van builders in Delhi & Mumbai. Why are you going through all that trouble of planning van built , selecting material & hiring peoples for build. I really appreciate their concern as it is a fair question to ask. Let me first say that there is nothing wrong with buying a completely done Caravan/Motorhome, where you can travel around with immediately, especially if you have little time. But there are a few benefits of converting an empty van yourself. 1. It’s cheaper than buying a completely done Caravan/Motorhome/Camper Van. We noticed this when looking online. The conversion price quoted by various dealers for a Force traveller was coming between 20 lac to 50 Lac excluding the price of vehicle. 2. You can build your dream Caravan/Motorhome/Camper van completely how you want. If you not really liking the interior from the van you bought Or you think you have way too little storage place under the bed. With your very own van, you can make the interior all by yourselves. This way it is completely adapted to your needs and therefore you’ll be much more happy with it afterward. 3. Quality of stuff you will buy will be of better quality. It can be a fun, bonding experience for all involved in building the van. 4. Your van build will be unique and one of a kind. Most important that , You will be more familiar with how everything works and will be able to repair things on your own easily. Friends there is no, one right way to see the world. Some people prefer sitting in a plane for hours and checking major items off their bucket list one at a time. Others like to embrace spontaneous adventures, build their Caravan/motorhome/camper van, and turn them into home sweet home.
