Soon time will come when lockdown will lift, travel, either on work or for pleasure, which had come to a screeching halt will be back to our life. However not everyone wants to go through the hassle of flying, especially with inflated costs and the hours of checking and sanitisation. Instead, driving holidays will be the post-Covid answer. India offers some beautiful sights and natural beauty. One of the best ways to explore this is by travelling via road instead of taking a flight or train to different destinations. Road trips allow you to stop wherever you need, explore a space to your heart’s content without having to worry about schedules. They also give you the option to modify your plans at the last minute if you discover something new. What better can be your mode of travel then a camper van. A Campervan can be your hotel room with queen size bed and a washroom, restaurant, and provide shelter at the same time. There’s no need to spend money on anything else, especially if you have all the supplies you need in the van. You can cook healthy and safe meals in the camper van kitchen or set up a BBQ outside it at the right spot. Our plan is to convert a Force Traveller 3350 wider body to a campervan which will have a comfortable bed, a small kitchen, and some entertainment options. It will accommodate four passengers comfortably, so you don’t feel boxed in. It will have a dining table so we can enjoy food and rest during our long drives. This van is not very big so it’s easy to find a parking spot anywhere we like and explore the surroundings. Van will be air-conditioned and will have refrigerator to store food. Adequate battery and generator backup so there’s no risk of running out of power or laptop / phone battery.
