Braised Chicken and Brussels Sprouts - Everyday Food with Sarah Carey

If you're looking for a warm, cozy, fall dish, then you've come to the right place! Today, I'm braising a whole chicken, along with Brussels sprouts and shallots, to create a healthy, comforting, and seasonal meal. This recipe gets its bold flavors from a broth, vinegar, and mustard braising liquid; and a touch of heavy cream added at the last minute also adds a bit of richness. Make this homey meal for your family, and wait for the compliments to roll in. Sarah's Tip of the Day: To remove excess moisture and ensure even browning, pat chicken with paper towel before adding it to the pan.
