Return to Verdant Plateau Tower, run down the ramp to the left and use the mushrooms to reach Fiend Intel 3: Shake the Earth. In Gongaga Village buy Petrify (40) from Chadley. From Magon Hill, jump then make the first left and veer right and cross the river to find Holy Ruins Lifespring then Woodland Moogle just behind it. Buy Tifa Manuscript 4 and Cait Sith Manuscript 3 afterwards. Next points of interest are: Fiend Intel 5: A Two-Pronged Assault, Reactor Construction Site Cache, from Verdant Plateau Tower jump to Valefloor Lifespring then go to the top of the spiral and slide the vines to Observation Tower then down the other side of the hill past the tower floor then up the hill on the left side to a chocobo stop, Woodsprite Haven, then Gongaga Ruins Tower. From Woodland Moogle head to Cavern Lake Lifespring, then from Gongaga Ruins Tower, Gongaga - Scenic Spot, Grotto Lifespring, then from Gongaga Ruins Tower to Fiend Intel 4: Maddened by Mako and Excavation 2: Wildgrove Ruins. Make Planet's Splendor, 1 White Cape, 1 Jeweled Ring, and both armors. Continue through the ruins to Forested Ruins Cache and Kujata Sanctuary Gamma. From Gongaga - Scenic Spot go to Classified Intel: The Sultan of Stench and beat the Great Malboro 5 times total and make 4 Malboro Orbs. Have Cloud use the White Cape and Blizzara the Rank Mouth as soon as possible from the Arcane Ward each time. From Grotto Lifespring go up and over and drop down to Cliffside Storehouse Cache, then out to Fiend Intel 6: Reactor Royalty. Go to Gongaga Village and see Chadley to buy both Magic Focus (40) (60) and rest at Cissnei's. In Folios unlock, Cloud's Limit Gauge Guard and Synergy Damage Up, Aerith's Debuff Extension, Tifa's Critical Hit Rate Up, Opening ATB Bonus, Utterly Unbridled Strength, and Weapon Ability Damage Up, Red XIII's Iron Defense, Barret's Staggering Charge, Massive Recharge, and Yuffie's Afflicted Debuff Duration Down and Faithful Thief. Return to Chadley and do Head Case with Cloud & Tifa for Enemy Skill: Mind Blast. Right away, dodge backwards twice with Cloud use ATB Boost then magnified Sleep switch to Tifa and bring her back away from the enemies, cast Fira from Cloud to Mindflayer Position Tifa next to Mindflayer and use Unbridled Strength twice which allows you to use a Synergy Ability. Use Relentless Rush on the Mindflayer which will pressure it. With Cloud, quickly build 1 ATB then use Focus Thrust to stagger it. Then use Bravers and Divekicks to finish it off before taking out the two Experimental Varghidpolis. Do Rooted in the Planet for Speed Up materia then Distant Tremors for Elemental materia and Natural Order for Provoke materia.
