Arkham Asylum (Full Cinematics) - Hard, No Upgrades - Part 1: Meet Riddler

Kevin Conroy Full Arkham series Hard Mode No Upgrade playlist here: • Arkham Series - Hard Mode, No Upgrades I'm going to attempt to complete a run like this for every game in the Arkham series. Asylum is the beginning and mostly straightforward, although the endgame content can be tough with default health and no Instant Takedown. I'm also going to try to keep the run fairly cinematic, and not rush the dialog or miss interesting/funny extra scenes, particularly involving Mark Hamill's delightful Joker, and trying to keep Detective Mode to a pragmatic minimum. For recording purposes I'm playing on the PS4 "Return to Arkham" release. Since I can't complete 100% of the Riddler trophies without purchasing upgrades I'll be bypassing them entirely for now. This does have a minor gameplay impact, as the 200 XP granted for collecting any Riddler reward often makes for the best source of healing between encounters in the game. Instead I'll be attempting to heal solely through the XP granted from the game's story-driven enemies. Since I'll also be aiming to keep this as a no-death run, that will make things slightly more complicated, because if I have a bad encounter, I'll need time to dig my way back out before a major boss fight or particularly dangerous segment. I take a sloppy hit on the first Titan boss here, but because he's worth 1000 XP, he heals you to full after the fight. This isn't a real boss fight, as you don't have to kill him, only survive a certain amount of time and he'll die on his own. As from that there's no much interesting in this segment, as at this point you wouldn't have many upgrades regardless. I end the segment once I meet Riddler and then escape to the surface.
