It's the most fun fight in this game, if not the entire series, and it's sorely disappointing there weren't more bosses this good. I'm using a very orchestrated Takedown pattern on him that works consistently. I'll walk through it step by step. The fight begins at 2:14 and immediately I use Freeze's own Disruptor against him. This leaves him in good position to follow up with the magnetic field generator. After this my goal was to slide under the breakable wall to plant explosive gel on it, but I mess up and climb instead, so I bail on that for now. I plant the gel while Freeze is disabling the magnets. Next I lure him to walk through the water puddle in the middle of the room. This is perfect position to get a couple of takedown varieties from above, so I climb up to the railing. First I get Glide Kick, then Drop Attack. It's also possible to get a Ledge Silent Takedown from up here, and that's preferable because it's possible to perform it more than once if you're quick, but I have to adapt to whatever movement he gives me. Next I do a normal Silent Takedown from behind, then lure him over for a Grate Takedown to finish things off. A perfect fight with no damage taken, I couldn't be more pleased. At 9:25 The Mad Hatter makes his sole appearance for this run. We won't be chasing after him. At 14:30 I demonstrate how Freeze Grenades are even better than the REC for taking out two Predator thugs who just won't separate. Dangit! At 24:34 I usually counter her successfully. It doesn't change anything but I find it weirdly satisfying. Oh well, this segment has been really solid up until now so I'm not going to complain about this minor detail. For the Predator segment at 25:30, I actually had to alter my tactics to try to let the initial dialog play, but this is one of the funnier ones in the game, I think. After I take down the two enemies in the smoke, I go up and over the room instead of directly to a gargoyle. The timing on this should be safe for two takedowns, but sometimes I seem to get detected and shot early. This was one of those times, as you'll see. If I had gone directly to a gargoyle (well, platforms in here), then the thugs would be aware of them and start blowing them up. By going over the room I avoid that. As you'll see during this segment fire extinguishers are extremely strong during Predator sections, and I probably should have made more use of them throughout the run. I find it fascinating that Harley's pigtails show up on detective vision at 29:10, but her skin and muscles don't. She actually has a few more lines of dialogue here that I skipped over, but none of them are very interesting from what I recall. The Joker boss fight at 32:57 is probably the single hardest fight in the game, until you find the right approach. The key is mastering the Titan. I haven't found a method that's 100% safe, but the method I use is very safe and almost never gets me killed. I perform one Cape Stun to his face, then Redirect over his back to perform an Ultra Stun. This nearly always gets the surrounding enemies to give you enough time to get to the third hit of Ultra Stun, at which point Batman gains iframes. Once the Titan is stunned, I do a single punch, then Redirect, rinse and repeat. Performing this consistently should allow you to kill the Titan and many of the normal thugs with rodeo hits, while also wearing down Mister Hammer somewhat. With that one little trick, the difficulty of this fight is taken down dramatically. With arguably the game's two hardest bosses down in a single segment, next time we'll have an entirely boss-less stretch of the game to contend with. 0:00 Mister Freeze 7:07 Rescuing Vicki Vale 11:35 The Steel Mill's Back Entrance 25:30 The Steel Mill 31:40 The Joker
