Evie is upset that Audrey can wield the Sceptor of Light better than her. Evie is especially hurt because Audrey doesn't have magic and never learned magic before. Everyone is asking Audrey to step up. Audrey is overwhelmed. Audrey refuses to use her skill to save everyone. She doesn't see why she has to spend her time and effort to save everyone when it matters so little to her. Evie is upset by Audrey's remark. Audrey is the only one who can open up the portal to the spirit world, so Evie needs Audrey to cooperate. Evie decides to take out Audrey's heart and control Audrey. Evie also wants to take Elena's magic and use it for herself. As Evie starts to use dark magic, everyone else around her is getting concerned. Dark magic is dangerous, but Evie thinks it can work for her. Evie opens up the portal to the spirit world with help from Audrey. Evie needs to get Jordan out of the spirit world. Audrey refuses to go to the spirit world, but she is the only one who can open up the portal. Evie makes Audrey to go to the spirit world anyway. Lonnie tries to convince Evie not to use dark magic. Evie ignores Lonnie and enters the spirit world with Jay and Audrey.
