Fairy Godmother found out about Ben and Mal's evil magic transfer, which is a forbidden magic in Auradon. The penalty for performing such magic is being banished to the Isle of the Lost. Lonnie, Jane and Gabe try to convince Fairy Godmother why Ben needs to be forgiven. Fairy Godmother thinks the decision must be made at the council. The council will have five people to decide what will happen to Ben. Lonnie thinks King Beast and Fairy Godmother will be on Ben's side, but Prince Charming won't be. There will be two additional people and Evie wants to put someone who will be sympathetic to Ben and Mal's plight. Jane thinks if they could lift Princess Elena's curse, she could help with their cause. Mal feels responsible to putting Ben in current situation. She wants to break Elena's curse no matter what. Mal absorbs everything evil like a sponge. Mal thinks she can absorb Elena's curse as well. Mal lifts Elena's curse, but the curse moves onto Mal. The condition of the contract remains same, but now Mal is bound to Uma's contract. Ben has no idea how to break Uma's contact. He only knows that Mal will pay for the penalty if the contract is not fulfilled.
