Moong Dal Appes|Yellow moong dalNo frying||Healthy Breakfast|Ready in minutes‪@akshatasrecipes‬

Today's recipe is a healthy Breakfast recipe of Yellow moong dal appes.A great tiffin idea or snack recipe.You can prepare the batter ahead of time and make the appes in less than 5 mins. No extra oil is used in this recipe.I am using ghee/calrified butter,alternatively you can use coconut oil too.please visit my channel ‪@akshatasrecipes‬ Ingredients 1 cup yellow moong dal 2 green chillies 1/2 inch of ginger 1 tsp of salt 1/4 cup of water 1/4 tsp turmeric/haldi powder 1/4 tsp asafoetida/hing powder 1/4 tsp cumin/jeera seeds 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion 1/4 cup of finely chopped tomato 1/4 cup of finely chopped capsicum 1/4 cup of finely chopped coriander a few drops of ghee/clarified butter for making the appes (total 1/4 cup for around 20 appes) some important tips The batter after grind the moong dal should not be runny/too thin but thick like a dosa/pancake batter. The appe stand should be nice & hot before pouring in the batter. once you add the ghee/coconut oil,swirl it around well so the appe stand molds get evenly coated. turn the appes only once the edges have browned and they are easily removable,do not try to remove them if the under side is still raw.let it cook evenly on both sides before taking the appes out.
