European borders: Exclusive Euronews poll gauges attitudes on EU travel

A new report from the World Tourism Organization has found that in May tourist numbers around the world dropped by 98 per cent compared to the same month last year. Even within the European Union, travel has been severely curtailed and tourism has plummeted -- as countries closed their borders to try and contain the spread of COVID-19. It's cost economies dearly but according to a new Euronews poll -- many Europeans agree that it was the right thing to do.
