This barre class is for all of you new mamas out there. It is the second class in my Prenatal Elevated Barre Workout Series. These classes are great for any trimester of pregnancy. I suggest doing the classes in order so you can learn the different modifications available to you. Some of the exercises are repeated throughout the series. Take one class each week and repeat it 3 - 4 times on different days, and then move on to the next class the following week. When you finish the series of 10 go back and repeat your favorite classes or repeat the whole series - it's totally up to you! Make sure you have water and take breaks whenever you need to. Your body is going through a lot of changes during your pregnancy so make sure you listen to what it needs! My Prenatal Elevated barre classes meet ACOG Guidelines, and include: Proper deep core training to prevent pregnancy pains, prepare for pushing, and expedite recovery. Postural and alignment work to prevent pains/injuries/falls. Functional strength training to prevent pregnancy pains and prepare for the activities of motherhood. Appropriate aerobic conditioning to reap health benefits and prepare for energy demands of labor.
