At any moment in time, several million Ukrainians are without electricity due to rolling blackouts brought about by Russia's targeting of energy infrastructure in the war-torn country. So says the CEO of Ukraine's Energy Operator Volodymyr Kudrytskyi who was speaking during a webinar hosted by America House Kyiv - a U.S. Embassy-backed programme in Ukraine. He described what he called Russia's unprecedented campaign against his country's electrical grid that has caused massive destruction, leaving large generation deficits for his company to grapple with.
