Monday Night Tropics Update: 2 named systems in the Atlantic

An area called the "Main Development Region" in the Atlantic, basically the part of the basin between the Lesser Antilles and the Cabo Verde Islands, is a hotbed of development and activity, especially in September. So it's no surprise we are continuing to see more storm formation here with newly designated TS Paulette and TS Rene, as well as another wave not yet off the African coast which could develop in the next 3 to 5 days. This means we only have 4 names left, before we begin using the Greek alphabet!
