COVID-19 and Chloroquine + Azithromycin - A Scientific Approach

This video is the sixth video in the series of SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. It comprehensively describes the pharmacological and biochemical prospects of an old antimalarial drug known as Chloroquine in the treatment of the menacing COVID-19. Many in vitro studies have shown promise of validating Chloroquine as a treatment option for COVID-19 patients. It also describes comprehensively the biochemical and pharmacological role that the bacteristatic antibiotic Azithromycin plays in curbing the pro-inflammatory response that is observed in CO)VID-19 patients and whether the unique combination of Chloroquine and Azithromycin would prove to be a promising drug regimen in combating SARS-CoV-2 infection.
