The 24 days of Final Fantasy III - Day twenty-two 2/3

Day Twenty-Two: The Final Events Location: Ancient Castle, Cyan's Dream, Cactapenis Park, Old man's house Characters: Gau (35) Locke (35) Terra (35) Cyan (34) Celes (34) Strago (36) Relm (35) Mog (34) Time played today: 1:27 Total time played: 18:32 Steps Taken: 40,501 I started off today with the Ancient Castle. I had to use the moogle charm at this point so that I could make it in the end. I train later on. I made sure to grab all of the treasures here. Master Pug was very easy, morphed Terra used two doses of Fire 3, while Relm used Flare, and Locke just attacked with the Ragnarok and Wing Edge. Once I made my way to the actual Castle, I went to fight Katana Soul. I equipped the beret on Relm, so that sketch would work better. If you sketch Katana Soul with the beret on, you have a high chance of using "slayer edge" which will instantly kill Katana Soul. I probably would've had trouble otherwise. I got the Odin magicite when I went inside, I'm not turning it into raiden, this is the only speed +1 esper in the entire game, unless you play the game boy advance version. In that case, cactaurs esper gives speed +2. Anyway, the Blue Dragon was very easy. I used mostly bolt spells, I can't remember if this was his weakness or not but either way it did the job. What I did with Locke will possibly be the only time I use the offering/genji glove combination. I left the Castle afterwords, and went to Doma Castle, to trigger Cyans dream. Moogle charm again. The three dream stooges were very easy. Watch and learn. At this point the only way they could be hard is if you did this part first, without elemental shields. But it's nearly impossible to NOT have them, because on your way to getting Cyan, you find ice, thunder, and flame shields. Not to mention aegis. Anyway, I went through the train, no problems. Went through the Cave, no problems. Once I made it to Dream Doma, I made sure for the viewers sake, to show the dialogue with Cyan, Owain, and Elaine. Anyways, I went to Wrexsoul without X-Zone but it was no problem. Gau used snare, and Mog used snare. Once I made it out of the dream I went back to the Kings room and picked up the "Alexandr" magicite. Don't know if this will be that useful. Once I left the castle, I trained every character that is seen in the day's description above. Made sure to get all of the essential white magic spells, some good black magic, and quite a bit of grey magic. I also flew over to the Old man's house from after the first Ultros fight, and... well, he's Gau's dad. Make sure to take Locke and Edgar with you for more hilarious dialogue. This ends day twenty-two... I'm gonna make it.
