Continuing the Mafia games trilogy, we move onto Mafia II Definitive Edition. I actually played the original Mafia II game, and the Definitive Edition isn't that much different, except in some graphical tweaks. Set within the fictional city of Empire Bay, during World War 2 and later early 1950s, the story follows Vito Scaletta and his friend Joe Barbaro, as they work for the crime families of Empire Bay during the said period of time. Walkthrough logic will follow the same criteria as with all other games I've done thus far: Story Missions are completed without failing or dying during their play and we will collect the Collectibles in these missions (Playboy Magazines mostly, Wanted Posters as I find the time during tasks). We will also complete the Joe's Adventures DLC pack, because it is related to the main storyline of the game. I was advised by Mafia Reddit to completely avoid the other two DLCs, because they are in no way related to the storyline. In Part 12, we follow our main protagonist Vito Scaletta being released from prison after serving a 7 out of a 10 year prison sentence. Learning from Joe visiting him that the outside world has changed a lot, and his mother dying while he was imprisoned, Vito first visits his old apartment to learn that his sister's husband moved in there. Before his release, Vito asked Joe to set him up with an apartment of his own, so that's what Joe and Vito are going to do before moving onto other things. Also, Joe introduces Vito to Eddie, an enforcer in the Falcone Family, who is taking care of some business, but meets up with our boys to celebrate Vito's early release from prison at the local cathouse. And boy, this chapter.... If you can pass this chapter without laughing as much as I did 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 "Vito, do NOT change that station!" "Okay, Joe." "It's Dino." (Joe and Eddie start singing to Dean Martin's "Return to me", off-note) "REEEEEETUUUURN TO MEEEEEE." "You guys kiddin' me with this?" (Joe and Eddie continue singing) "Oh my God, poor Dino!" Content: 0:00 Chapter 7 - In Loving Memory of Francesco Potenza (collecting Playboy Magazines #50, #17, #46 and #16) 28:06 The cathouse cutscene 30:55 Driving to the observatory part 37:34 Burying Frankie Pots cutscene 39:31 "Return to me" 🤣🤣 NOTE: There was a slight graphical bug when Vito enters Joe's apartment before going to the cathouse, with Vito's hair glitching on his head. I don't know WHY this happened (I suspect it was the outfit), but I decided not to re-record this part and just leave it as it is. This game has a few graphical glitches that occur.
