Cleveland weather forecast: Another wintry system brewing for Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather temperatures will be staying below normal. This weekend may have been a shock to the system for a couple of reasons...the cold temperatures and snowflakes falling. Yesterday actually marked our first high temperature in the 30s since March 27th, 2022. Cleveland Hopkins Int'l hit a high of 39 degrees to wrap the weekend. If you were hoping the rest of the extended forecast featured more warmth...you may need to glance at a different city's extended forecast somewhere else. NE Ohio is expected to trend unseasonably cool for the next week or so. Keep the winter gear handy. Our next system that has winter-like characteristics arrives late Tuesday. This will likely start as rain and transition to snow as temperatures. Just like this past weekend, this system will swirl around bringing cold air off Lake Erie which will lead to more chances for lake effect snow showers. We'll keep you posted on potential totals from this on-air and online in the days to come. Here is your 3-day Cleveland weahter forecast. TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy, chilly. Near freezing. TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with rain-snow chances late. Low 40s. WEDNESDAY: Rain and snow showers. Mid to upper 30s. READ MORE: https://www.wkyc.com/article/weather/...
