The Reason I ALWAYS Use This Specialty Bar! | XM Cambered Swiss Bar Review!

Hey there! Thanks for tuning into our video, we hope you enjoy(ed)! In today's video we are checking out one of my personal favourite barbells that we own. Not only is it one of my favourites but it's also one of the most used barbells in the gym as well. I originally wanted to pick up one of these barbells because I was experiencing some irritation when pressing with a traditional barbell, specifically during the lowest part of the lift. This irritation was caused from a variety of factors, one being the early years of my lifting journey I was benching at least 3 times every week. This amount of volume, combined with poor programming and sequencing was probably the largest contributing factor. Following my early years I started a fitness program more tailored to my athletic career and it wasn't until the past 2 - 3 years I started noticing that irritation I was referring to in the video. This bar doesn't directly solve this issue, however it did give me an avenue to continue pressing and in some cases re-establish the lower range of the bench press movement. To this day my shoulder/rotator health has come a long way which is due to proper programming and sequencing as well as lots of rehab/prehab work. I think this bar has a lot to offer especially if you are experiencing some of the issues I went through a few years ago. As I mentioned earlier, I used to press A LOT, during that time I used various different exercises and methods to excel the progress as fast as possible. I was doing bench press variations like Pin Presses, Resisted or Supported Pressing w/ Bands, Close Grip Pressing, Paused Pressing, etc. I think someone might benefit from this barbell if they are more focused towards powerlifting and are looking to add some variety to their movements. I know this bar would have made my benching journey much more fun and enjoyable if I had it back then. Lastly, if you have any questions about my shoulder health journey, my current or past lifting programs, sledge hockey/my athletic career, or anything related to home gym equipment, I would love to chat about it with you in the comments below!
