February 12, 1994 - Cleveland Cavaliers guard Mark Price connected on 20 of his first 22 3-pointers in the final round of the 1994 NBA 3-Point Shootout, easily clinching his second consecutive shootout crown in the process and carving out his place among the contest's all-time greats. Price reached a score of 24 with three shots remaining, needing just to his just of his final three attempts to tie the all-time original format record for points in a round (25, by Craig Hodges in 1986). Perhaps feeling a semblance of pressure and/or fatigue, Price each of his last three shots, settling for 24 points in total and securing an 11-point win over eventual runner-up Dana Barros.
