After matching Dana Barros with five points in their first tie-breaker, Murdock fell 9-7 in their second head-to-head 24-second battle. The 1993-94 season was arguably Murdock's most productive of his career. Playing all 82 games, he averaged 15.3 points per game, 6.7 assists (13th in the NBA), 2.4 steals (5th), and shot .411 from deep (6th).
