EMERGENCY RELIEF - Cyclone Amphan Bangladesh

Cyclone Amphan has caused great damage in rural and urban areas in the coastal belt of Bangladesh. Reports say that 22 people have died. 55,667 houses have been destroyed and 149,000 hectares crops and farmland have been damaged due to ingress of sea water and flooding. Many houses have been destroyed along with vegetable crops. The simultaneous occurrence of Cyclone Amphan with the crisis caused by the ongoing pandemic of the COVID-19 is causing double the risk and safety for the people in need in the coastal shoreline of Bangladesh. Our team is on the ground in the most affected areas of Bangladesh. Our volunteers are helping communities recover from the disaster.Now we need to step forward and support the communities recover from the impact of the Cylone Amphan.
