Machpelah - Cave of the Patriarchs. Muslim and Jewish sides at Hebron. Joel Kramer, SourceFlix.

When Joel Kramer, SourceFlix took us to Machpelah, in Hebron we went in both the Muslim and Jewish sides of the Cave of the Patriachs. Second to the Temple Mount, Machpelah is the most venerated holy place in Israel. Herod the Great built up three holy places In Judea, Mamre, Moriah (Temple Mount) and Machpelah. Abraham had purchased this cave not just for Sarah’s burial, but as a family burial site to be used for generations to come. Joel takes us through the archeological history and Biblical narrative of this incredibly ancient site.    • Tel Hebron. Joel Kramer. SourceFlix.   Joel teaching from Tel Hebron where King David built his palace overlooking Machpelah    • Abraham’s Extraordinarily Sophisticated Ho...   Dr. Jay Smith teaching from Ur artefacts in the British Museum, Abraham’s home town.
