Fast"I Got Rhythm"Drum Solo Tony Castellano-Ken Loomer Jazz Duo

I Got Rhythm a song composed by the great George Gershwin and is now a jazz standard. All the great jazz musicians like Charlie Parker,Dizzy Gillespie,Buddy Rich,Oscar Peterson,Benny Goodman have recorded this classic song.This is a rare jazz duo playing this song at a fast tempo with my friend Tony Castellano Jr. doing the melody and bass line at the same time. At one point Tony drops the bass line and we improvise at the same time like what a sax and drummer would do. Here I`m using my classic jazz Slingerland 1968 kit which has that big open drum sound. Of course Slingerland was the brand that Buddy Rich,Gene Krupa,Louie Bellson,Roy Haynes,Jake Hanna and so many jazz drummers used in the 60`s.
