When you buy light bulbs, do you just look at the wattage or to see if its a compact florescent or LED or incandescent and oh yeah make sure its a tiny base or medium base candelabra bulb or whatever and then run screaming from the aisle praying you picked the right one? Yeah, all those things are overwhelming, but there is ONE.MORE.IMPORTANT LIGHTBULB FACTOR. Do you know about it? His name is Kelvin and you need to know him. Allow me introduce you....... Who is Kelvin? It's not a WHO, but a WHAT, and I'm obsessed with the perfect Kelvin number for the lighting inside and outside my house. The lower the number, the warmer (or more orange) the light, and the higher the number, the cooler (bluer) the light. You gotta find the K number that's right for you, and once you find it, make sure to be consistent with purchasing that same light temperature across your home. My perfect Kelvin number is 2700.
