So... your furnace comes on and blows, but you have no heat. The fix is simpler than you think. Step (1) TURN OFF THE THERMOSTAT Step (2) Locate you furnace Step (3) Look for the flame sensor which is located behind the first burner and held in place with one screw. CAREFULLY remove the screw. You don't want to lose the screw or drop the sensor because it will break. NOTE: if you break it, it can be replace from Amazon, for less than $20.00 but in the cold weather who can wait for this part to be delivered? Step (4) use a fine sand paper to clean the sensor, then dust off and re-install in the original location. Step (5) turn the thermostat on and wait for the igniter to glow.
