2008 Kia Sorento 3.3L V6 WOT 0-60

As the title says. For being the base engine, it’s pretty quick. For 2008, this was actually a decent powertrain. Paired to a Nissan sourced 5 speed automatic which has proven reliable. I talk a lot of smack about Kia / Hyundai but IMO these are far more durable than the newer ones with the GDI engines. Mainly the GDI 4 cylinder used in all Kia / Hyundai products, they are plagued with knocks, ticks, leaks, fires, and catastrophic engine failures for nearly a decade. I say nearly as there’s still no knowing as to whether Hyundai actually corrected the issues as the 2020+ cars still need time / mileage to redeems themselves.
