Since last year I've been experimenting with moss poles, and I've really grown to love them. After surviving a bout of thrips, my monsteras, epipremnums and philodendrons have been thriving on these poles. I typically just use sphagnum moss, but I've recently been mixing coconut chips as well to hold more moisture. It's nice to make a lot in one go as they'll keep well and you can grab one whenever you need it. JJ Moss pole ingredients: 1. Sphagnum moss 2. Coconut chips (optional) 3.
