Tornado in Palmer, Iowa! April 12, 2022.

Today I chased storms in NW IA including the one which went on to produce the Palmer/Gilmore City tornado. This was a huge achievement for me. I have been storm chasing for three years and never made a proper tornado intercept. After hundreds of hours of driving and dozens of busted storm chases, this moment helped validate this hobby for me. I apologize for getting emotional during the video but the moment overwhelmed me.
