Amit Shah, Adhir , Azad In Eight-Member Panel To Examine Idea Of ‘One Nation, One Election’ | News18 Setting the ball rolling on its party’s manifesto promise of working towards simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the country, the Centre on Saturday constituted an eight-member committee under former President Ram Nath Kovind to examine the feasibility of the “one nation, one election” plan.
